Finland is maybe not as big in pony trekking nowadays, but offers a range of contrasting sceneries perfect for a film shoot, with four distinct seasons including the cool & crisp winter and pure white snow.

Our very strong background in production together with the lean, creative & flexible crew, gives us great tools for smooth and cost-effective productions. All of us here at Woodpecker Film are working in close co-operation with our sister companies in Modern Media Corporation. We're also actively building up a new boutique production company network around the globe.
These co-operations provide us synergies and gives us a lot more solutions to meet the challenges provided by our clients.
In Finland we have won a multitude of awards at “Commercial of the Year”, “Production Company of the Year” and “Music Video of the Year” contest.
Internationally, we have been awarded and nominated in Cannes Lions, Clio, Cresta New York, the MTV Video Music Awards, Epica, Effie, Eurobest, Montreaux and the New York Festival, to name a few. Our short films have been Internet & festival favourites and featured in MoMa, New York, among other things.
